I wrote a little utility that will easily allow a user to connect a SQL 2005 database and maintain the MS_Description extended property of most of the user created objects. This is helpful if you're using a 3rd party utilty to generate your DB documentation and/or ERD. I'm still adding features to the app and I hope to eventually have dump some basic HTML documentation of your database and allow you display & maintain relationships and other properties. Requirements & Installation You need to have the .Net 2.0 Framework installed and have access to a SQL 2005 Server database where you have permission to read the extended properties. |
